UAE Foreign Minister winds up visit to Cairo

UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nuhyyan left here Sunday, wrapping up a visit to Egypt where he took part in the Arab foreign ministers meeting on a number of Arab issues.

Held in Cairo on Friday in the presence of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the meeting discussed the developments in the Palestinian cause and the French initiative to revive the stalled peace talks.

It also tackled the Arab stance that will be floated before the Paris conference on reviving peace negotiations in Palestine, slated for June 3 with the participation of US Secretary of State John Kerry.

The latest developments in Libya, Arab role toward the implementation of the Sukhirat deal along with forming the Presidential Council and the Government of National Accord (GNA) were discussed during the ministerial meeting as well.
