Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour received on Monday acting Charge d' Affaires of the Russia Embassy in Khartoum Medetov Sergey, who conveyed to him an invitation from his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov to visit Moscow in September as part of efforts to boost the bilateral ties.

Ghandour welcomed the invitation and expressed his appreciation for the support being provided by Russia to the Sudan in the international forums, official SUNA news agency reported.
