Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed arrived at Cairo International Airport on Sunday.

He is expected to hold talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on promoting bilateral ties as well as regional and African issues of common interest.

This is the first visit by the Mohamed since being elected as a president of Somalia.
