President Abdel Fattah El Sisi opened on Thursday a renovated medical complex of the Armed Forces in Cairo's Kobri el Qoba district.
Upon arrival at the complex, the president was received by Defense Minister Sedqy Sobhy, Armed Forces Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy and other top brass.
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail attended the inauguration as well as Interior Minister Magdi Abdel Ghaffar and other top officials.
President Abdel Fatah El Sisi was posted on the developments which the 32.5-feddan-sized complex underwent.
The complex houses 1,750 beds, including 300 for intensive care and 120 for kidney dialysis and 35 for operations room.
The complex comprises several clinics, hospitals and specialized centers, including hepatitis viruses treatment unit and Audiology and Speech Pathology department.
There is an additional building for specialized cardiology hospital in addition to an administrative building and a drugs store.
