President Abdel Fattah al Sisi attended on Monday Egypt's celebration of Labor Day, organized by the Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF).
The celebration, held at the Police Academy headquarters, was attended by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese, former president Adly Mansour, Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi and Minister of Manpower Nahed Ashri.
The president honored during the celebration veteran and young laborers in appreciation of their efforts in supporting labor and production.
Minister of Manpower and Immigration Nahed Ashri said the Egyptian laborers will have for the first time a court specialized in settling their disputes.
During the May Day celebration, she said a memo will be sent to the House of Representatives to discuss the measure of establishing the court in line with the country's institution.
The minister pointed out that over 253 job opportunities had been created in one year and that the ministry will continues efforts to overcome the jobless problems.
