H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued Emiri Decree No. 65 of 2017 to amend Emiri Decree No. 65 of 2014, on the establishment of the Sharjah Urban Planning Council.

Emiri Decree No. 65 of 2017 stipulates that the membership of the council shall include Ali Saeed bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Head of the Sharjah Department of Public Works, as a new member.

The Decree shall be effective from the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette. Any provision contrary to the provisions of this law shall be repealed.
