Head of the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Ahmed Darwish starts on Sunday a four-day visit to Germany during which he will meet with a number of senior German officials and businessmen to attract investments to Egypt.
In exclusive statements to MENA, Egyptian Ambassador to Germany Badr Abdel Aati said that the visit comes within efforts to boost relations with Germany, especially after President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s visit to Berlin in 2015.
Germany is considered one of the most important industrial countries in the world, Abdel Aati said, adding that it is also considered the most important economy in Europe and the fourth in the world.
Darwish is planned to meet with senior officials in economy and energy ministries, businessmen, head of German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce, foreign ministry undersecretary, head of German industrial union for small- and medium-sized enterprises and a delegation from a German company working in manufacturing cars.
