Saudi Ambassador in Cairo Ahmad Qattan on Sunday saw off the first batch of pilgrims from families of martyrs of the Armed Forces and police upon their departure to the holy lands.

Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz had offered to host the martyrs' families in a show of appreciation for them and their loved one, who had lost their lives to defend their homeland, Qattan said.
