Royal Guard commander Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa visits BDF unit.

Royal Guard Commander, Brigadier-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, accompanied by the Royal Guard’s Special Force Commander, Major HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and a number of Royal Guard’s senior officers, today visited a Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) unit.


HH Shaikh Nasser was briefed by the unit’s commander about the development plans, as well as the military preparation and training programmes implemented by the Royal Guard’s Special Force.

The Royal Guard Commander conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, to the unit’s servicemen, as well as his appreciation of the noble sacrifices they are making within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen.

HH Shaikh Nasser thanked the unit’s personnel for the outstanding military professionalism and strong resolve they have shown during their continuous participation within the BDF’s Task Force which is taking part in combat operations in brotherly Yemen, as well as in all the tasks assigned to them.

He stressed that the Arab Coalition’s thanks and appreciation to the BDF personnel was the outcome of their dedication and high combat efforts in Yemen out of their keenness on assuming their patriotic duties, championing the right and defending the Arab Nation’s security and stability under all circumstances.

The Royal Guard Commander lauded the honourable achievements that are constantly attained by the BDF personnel thanks to their dedication and tireless efforts to serve the nation under all circumstances and at all times.

He added that the unit’s servicemen are always ready to defend the nation and protect its hard-won gains, as well as to champion their brothers, alongside their BDF brethren, in line with the directives of HM the King, the Supreme Commander, and those of the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
