HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani who is also Chairman of the Supreme Education Council attended the graduation ceremony of the fourth batch of the Community College of Qatar graduates of arts, sciences and applied sciences, held at Qatar National Convention Centre Wednesday evening.
At the outset of the ceremony, President of the College Dr. Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi gave a speech in which he said this day came to culminate the efforts of years of persistent work and incessant effort, noting that happiness is visible on the faces of the parents, husbands and wives, who had been the best assistants to the students in their journey.
Dr. Al-Nuaimi confirmed that the educational development in the State of Qatar including the Community Development Qatar, inspires its mission from our leaders' futuristic vision, stressing that HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, who pays a special care to education, confirmed in many occasions that the development of the Qatari people is our most important wealth and the level of their education reflect the extent of our success in this mission, and before him was the role of HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, in addition to the role of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. "There is no clearer evidence for the care our leaders give to education than HE the Prime Minister's earnest follow-up and care for educational issues. They deserve from us all cordiality, acknowledgement and appreciation," Dr. Al-Nuaimi said.
