Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi arrived here Sunday on a few days' visit to Egypt.
During this visit, al Muraikhi will participate in the the extraordinary meeting of the Arab foreign ministers and the Arab-European ministerial meeting that are due to be held Tuesday.
Tunisian Foreign Minister Khamis al Jehinawi is scheduled to chair the Arab side in his capacity as the chairman of the current session of the Arab-European ministerial meeting.
High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Federica Mogherini will chair the European side.
The two sides will discuss a number of issues of common interest at the Arab, regional and international levels, topped by the peace process in the Middle East and the Syrian crisis.
They will also touch upon the developments of the situation in Libya and Iraq in addition to security-related issues like counter-terrorism efforts, immigration and organized crime.
The meeting is set to discuss ways to ensure promotion of bilateral cooperation in political, security and economic spheres.
