President Salva Kiir Mayardit of the Republic of South Sudan arrived in Khartoum Friday where he was received by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omar Bahir and a number of high level Sudanese officials.

President Kiir is on a two-day visit to the Sudan where talks will be held between the two sides later Friday at the Republican Palace in Khartoum
