Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese inaugurated on Thursday the Cathedral of the two Saints Mar Mina el Agaibi and Abanoub el Nahisy in New Beni Suef city.

The pope led a mass to mark the opening which was attended by a host of senior bishops and monks as well as thousands of worshipers.

The ceremony was held to mark the 46th death anniversary of Pope St. Kyrillos VI, the 116th Pope of Alexandria.
