Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria arrived in Vienna Thursday on a pastoral visit.

The Pope was received at the airport by Egypt's Ambassador to Austria Khaled Shamaa as well as a number of Egyptian Christian priests in Austria.

The Pope will undergo medical checkup during the visit.
