Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Cairo Sunday for a two-day visit.

Abbas will meet president Abdel Fattah El Sisi to discuss recent developments on the Palestinian arena. 

The two leaders will also discuss efforts exerted to push the peace process in light of the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

Abbas will also meet with Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil el Araby and Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
