Norwegian Foreign Minister Borge Brende started a one-day official visit to Oman Wednesday for talks with officials here.

Brende is set to meet with Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah to discuss regional and international issues of mutual concern, according to the Omani news agency. 

The meeting will also focus on means to boost bilateral relations.
