Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, has received a delegation from the EU-UAE Parliamentary Friendship Group, headed by Antonio Lopez-Isturiz White, President of the group, in the presence of Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council, FNC.

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan welcomed the delegation's visit, emphasising the keenness of the wise leadership under the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to promote and develop bilateral relations with various countries and peoples.

Sheikh Nahyan expressed his hope that the delegation's visit will contribute to enhancing cooperation and partnership between the UAE and EU countries in various sectors.

Mr. White praised UAE's comprehensive renaissance in various fields under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan,The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

He emphasised the importance of relations between the UAE and EU countries, and the necessity of continuing mutual visits to discuss issues of mutual interest.
