His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, attended on Wednesday a banquet hosted in his honour by Ali Abdullah Al Sha’far at his residence in Umm Suqeim district 1, Dubai.
H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Director of Office of Martyrs’ Affairs at Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, as well as several dignitaries, officials and invitees from the districts also attended the event.
Al Sha’far welcomed the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, thanking him for accepting the invitation. He said that the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed reflects the leadership’s keenness to communicate with citizens and it is an expression of cohesion and solidarity between the leadership and the citizens.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed exchanged views with the attendees who praised the vision of the leadership for giving the first priority to the welfare of Emiratis , being a focal point of present and future as outlined by the UAE’s founding father, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
"This legacy has been continued by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his brothers, Members of Supreme Council, Their Highnesses Rulers of Emirates," they added.
They also lauded His Highness Sheikh Mohamed’s keenness on investment in the nation’s youth in a bid to build a generation equipped with education and capable to achieve the national development endeavours as well as safeguard the progress attained so far by the UAE, thanks to the UAE President.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince was also flanked by Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, and Lt. General Staff Juma Ahmed Al Bowardi Al Falasi, Adviser to the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
