Mohamed bin Zayed in New Delhi

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, was this morning accorded an official reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Presidential Palace in New Delhi on the occasion of His Highness being welcomed as the Chief Guest of India's 68th Republic Day Celebrations.

Sheikh Mohamed and his accompanying delegation were received at the Presidential Palace by President Pranab Mukherjee of the Republic of India, Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and a number of senior officials in the Indian government.

The national anthems of both the UAE and India were played, followed by an inspection of the Guard of Honour by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed.

The ceremony concluded with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and the Indian Prime Minister shaking hands with the accompanying officials from both countries.

Sheikh Dhiyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority, Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary at the Court of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Lt.
