King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today at Al-Safriya Palace received scores of citizens of Muharraq Governorate in the framework of the royal keenness to meet citizens from various governorates.


The citizens expressed delight in meeting HM the King. They appreciated the royal interest in strengthen the bonds of communication with citizens, hailing the royal directives to meet their aspirations and needs.


HM the King welcomed the Muharraq citizens role in promoting the comprehensive development march, pointing out their contribution to the national achievements alongside citizens of other villages, which stems from their love and loyalty to the homeland.


Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs, Sheik Dr. Farid bin Yacoub Al Miftah, in his speech on behalf of Muharraq citizens, praised HM the King’s interest in launching large developing projects in Muharraq governorate. He affirmed the Muharraq citizens would always stand by their leadership to defend the homeland and participate in the march of development.


He extended gratitude to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait for their contribution to support Bahrain and maintain its security and stability, taking pride in the participation of the Bahrain Defence Force alongside their brethren in arms to restore legitimacy in Yemen.


He congratulated HM the King on the national achievements made during his prosperous era, citing sport successes in the fields of endurance riding, triathlon and track and field, in addition to This is Bahrain activities.


He wished HM the King abundant good health and happiness to continue leading the development and construction march.


Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi expressed gratitude to HM the King for receiving the Muharraq citizens, highlighting their allegiance and loyalty to Al Khalifa.
