HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association received Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, Assistant Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and General Secretary of Bahrain Olympic Committee, who presenteda copy of the book "Bahraini Sports for Life."
The book was authored by Bahrain Olympic Academy under the directives of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee.
Askar briefed HH Shaikh Khalid about the book which will greatly benefit the Bahraini society and make it aware of the important role of sports.
HH Shaikh Khalid valued the book, praising the efforts of everyone involved in authoring it.
He added the book’d valuable information shows the importance of sports in our life and its effective role in preventing chronic diseases via exercising regularly.
