US Secretary of State John Kerry left here Wednesday for Saudi Arabia, wrapping up several hours visit to Egypt during which he met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Sisi and Kerry discussed means of boosting bilateral relations as well as the latest developments on the international and regional arenas.
Meanwhile, Kerry underscored the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries in fighting terrorism.
Kerry travels to Saudi Arabia to join US President Barack Obama in the US-Gulf summit, to take place in Riyadh on Thursday.
