US Secretary of State John Kerry says renewed efforts are needed to fight the Islamic State group in Syria in the wake of the attacks in Brussels, abc news reported.
Kerry is in Moscow to discuss the fragile truce in Syria that is hoped will spark UN-brokered peace talks.
Kerry said on Thursday in his opening remarks at the talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov that the attacks in Brussels that killed at least 31 and injured more than 300 has underscored the urgency for "every country that has the ability" to help put an end to IS.
