Kuwaiti Ambassador to India Jassem Al-Najem handed in Saturday his credentials to President of India Ram Nath Kovind during a ceremony held in the capital New Delhi.
A press release by the embassy, obtained by KUNA, said that Ambassador Al-Najem conveyed to President Kovind greetings from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Ambassador Al-Najem indicated that His Highness the Amir hoped that the strong and historical relations with India will continue to prosper for years to come.
President Kovind, on his part, returned His Highness the Amir's greetings and also expressed similar wishes to further develop bilateral ties, said the Kuwaiti diplomat.
