Egyptian Investment Minister Dalia Khorshid, accompanied by a delegation from the Investment Ministry, arrived Sunday in Beijing to take part in the Egyptian-Chinese quartet ministerial committee.
The quartet ministerial committee is due to be held on Monday and Tuesday.
The two-day meeting aims at reaching a final list for the priority projects, which will be conducted in Egypt in cooperation with China.
The projects are expected to include different fields, such as transport, electricity, renewable energy, housing, and health.
Khorshid is chairing the Egyptian delegation during the meetings along with Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil, who arrived in Beijing on Friday to take part in the G-20 trade ministers' meetings, that wrapped up earlier Sunday.
The trade ministers’ meetings came in preparation for the G-20 summit, slated for September.
On the sidelines of the meetings, the delegation will meet with officials of more than 15 leading investment entities in China that aim to be briefed on the most promising investment opportunities in Egypt.
