Egypt's Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr returned home on Friday from Indonesia, where she took part in the 41st annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) board of governors.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Nasr and Chairman of the IDB Group Ahmed Mohamed Ali signed a deal to establish an Islamic micro-finance institution in Egypt with a capital of 450 million pounds.
The project aims at funding small and medium-sized projects in Egypt, Nasr said.
