Indonesian President Joko Widodo plans to visit Seoul next week for talks with his South Korean counterpart Park Geun-hye.
Park is set to meet with Widodo on Monday and the two leaders are expected to discuss how to boost cooperation in trade investment as well as regional and international issues, the presidential office said on Tuesday.
South Korea said Widodo's visit could further strengthen relations between the two countries, according to South Korea's (Yonhap) News Agency. Trade volume between South Korea and Indonesia stood at US$293 billion in 2015. Indonesia is home to about 2,200 South Korean companies.
