Riyadh - Arab Today
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa arrived here today on a brotherly visit to Saudi Arabia, where he will hold talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on ways to enhance the deep-rooted fraternal bilateral relations, as well as the latest regional and international developments.
Upon arrival, HRH Premier was welcomed by the Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Bahrain's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and a number of senior Saudi state officials.
In a statement on his arrival, HRH Premier expressed pleasure in visiting Saudi Arabia, the "bulwark of Arabism and the fortress of Islam and Muslims."
HRH the Prime Minister expressed profound appreciation to King Salman for his "effective contributions, pivotal role and creative initiatives for the sake of reviving Arab solidarity, as well as reconciling Arabs and Muslims and uniting them in facing the challenges that pose a threat to the region."
King Salman's initiatives, and his enlightened and far-sighted policies of establishing the Arab and Islamic coalition to convey a strong message against interference aimed at undermining legitimacy in Arab countries, or those aimed at spreading the agendas of chaos and destruction across the Arab world have proved that Saudi Arabia has been –and will remain, a strong supporter of Arab and Islamic issues and a robust advocate of the Right and Justice, he added.
"The visit to our second country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, constitutes a precious opportunity to meet our brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques," he said, adding that the visit is an occasion to convey the Bahraini people's love and appreciation to the Saudi leadership and people for their "honourable stances that will remain engraved in the minds of every Bahraini forever."
HRH the Prime Minister stressed that the "fateful outstanding relations between our two brotherly countries will be strengthened and deepen further. They will progress steadily at all levels, in light of the interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud."
"Saudi Arabia has played a great and influential role in the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) since its inception, and this role is increasing under the leadership of our brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques," the Prime Minister said, voicing confidence in the ability of King Salman and other GCC leaders to fortify the GCC entity and enhance partnership among its states.
HRH the Prime Minister wished Saudi Arabia further security and progress, under the leadership of King Salman, Crown Prince HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef and Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
