His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace today His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and his granddaughter Shaikha Aisha bint Rashid Al Khalifa on the occasion of her graduation from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, in the United Kingdom.
HM the King congratulated Shaikha Aisha on her graduation from the prestigious academy and on her honourable results. He praised her efforts, expressing appreciation of her being the first Bahraini girl to graduate from the prestigious university. He also paid tribute to Bahraini women for their spirit of determination to achieve the best results in various fields and serve their nation, wishing Shaikha Aisha continuous success.
HM the King commended keenness of the Bahraini people on academic and military learning to serve their nation, lauding the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and its military programmes. He also praised strong cooperation between Bahrain and the UK in various fields.
HM the King bestowed on Shaikha Aisha the Medal of Competence in recognition of her efforts and achievement.
HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa hailed the kind royal gesture in conferring the Medal of Competence on his graddaughter, describing it as an incentive and a source of pride for it reflects HM the King’s keenness on supporting the Bahraini people in proving their worth and capabilities in various areas. He expressed heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HM the King for supporting the Bahraini youth, describing the medal as a royal appreciation of Shaikha Aisha’s capability to enroll in the military field by being the first Bahraini girl to graduate from the British Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Shaikha Aisha extended thanks and gratitude to HM the King for his unflinching support to the Bahraini people, wishing him abundant health and happiness to continue the development march in Bahrain.
