His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa arrived in the Saudi capital Riyadh in response to the invitation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to attend the conclusive ceremony of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival held under the auspices of the Saudi monarch.
HM the King upon arrival was received by HRH Prince Faisal bin Bander bin Abdulaziz Al Saud the Governor of Riyadh Region and senior officials.
HM the King delivered the following statement:
We express our utmost delight at this visit to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and meeting again with our brother Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud may Allah preserve and nurture him, reaffirming our deep pride in the wise policy and consolidated communication between us, and in the close brotherly relations whose foundations have been laid by the fathers and forefathers, whose solid and firm pillars increase its strength, diversity of fruits and benefits day after day that support our aspiration and meet our ambitions.
We affirm our great appreciation of the invitation of our brother Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to attend the final ceremony of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, expressing our delight at participating in this festival which presents the bright and shiny image of the Saudi cultural scene in all of its noble societal dimensions and the genuine policy of the Saudi leadership consolidated by late King Abdulaziz Al Saud the founder of the modern Saudi State in view of the importance of supporting the national Saudi heritage and its genuine progressive features. 
It is an occasion to renew our appreciation of the utmost diligence of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to boosting the fraternal bilateral ties and his constant leading efforts in supporting the blessed march of the Gulf Cooperation Council of Arab States, development of joint Arab work and defending the issues of our Islamic nation, these ostensible manifestations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's high place and its leading role in this critical phase that necessitate the unity of stance and integration of vision so that all of us overcome the challenges of this phase and its difficulties and together attain the welfare and prosperity of our peoples.
