Armed Forces Chief of Staff Lt. General Mahmoud Hegazy attended on Tuesday a military drill carried out by a unit of the Third Field Army.

The Somoud-4 military drill comes as part of an annual plan to train Egyptian servicemen and improve their fighting skills.

Hegazy praised the level of performance and training shown by the Egyptian military personnel.

The Egyptian army is capable of facing any challenge threatening Egypt’s national security, he said.

The drill was attended by a number of the top brass commanders.
