Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, today received Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, who is currently visiting Azerbaijan.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, the parties reviewed bilateral relations in all fields between the GCC and Azerbaijan, and discussed the latest political developments in the region and issues of common interest.

The GCC Secretary-General conveyed the greetings of the GCC leaders to the President of Azerbaijan and their keenness to develop friendly relations between them.
