H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, on Saturday, crowned the winners of the first Fujairah Endurance Chess Solving Championship, which saw 135 contestants from 16 countries.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad congratulated the winners and thanked the Fujairah Chess and Culture Club, FCCC, and the UAE Chess Federation for jointly organising the event.

The Al Ain Club won the Under-10 category while the Abu Dhabi Chess Club won the Under-16 category.

Fujairah professionals bagged the top honours in the men’s category.
