Luxor Governor Mohamed Badr discussed Sunday with Chief Administrative Officer and Managing Director at The World Bank (WB) Shaolin Yang following up development projects in Luxor.
A statement by the Luxor governorate said Yang and his accompanying delegation assessed during the visit "Takafol we Karama" program and met with program's local officials and number of citizens benefiting from the program.
They also inspected a number of projects and institutions in Luxor, which the WB contributed to their financing, including social housing project in new Tiba (Thebes) city, the statement read
On the sidelines of the visit, Yang and the delegation visited Karnak and Luxor temples as well as watching the light and sound show, expressing their admiration for the ancient Egyptian civilization and the accuracy of the ancient Egyptian artist, the statement added.
