Egypt’s women national football team arrived home Monday night after two friendly matches with Zambia as part of preparations for the finals of the 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations, which will take place in mid-November in Cameroon.

For the championship, Cameroon qualified automatically as hosts, while the remaining seven spots were determined by the qualifying rounds, which took place from March to April: Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Nigeria, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
