Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab arrived in the Jordanian capital on Wednesday on a two-day official visit to the kingdom to co-chair the meetings of the 25th session of the joint higher committee.
Mahlab was welcomed at Marka military airport by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour.
Mehleb is accompanied by the ministers of electricity, petroleum, trade, transport and manpower.
Talks are expected to take up means of promoting bilateral ties in various domains, especially trade, investment and economy.
Mehleb and Nsour will chair the committee meetings during which 10 cooperation protocols will be inked.
The Egyptian and Jordanian news agencies will also sign cooperation deals.
The two sides will also sign cooperation deals in the fields of electricity and cultural property protection.
The two countries seek to up the volume of trade exchange which stood at 656.5 million dollars in 2014.
