Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa has arrived in Kuwait heading the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation to the 38th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s Supreme Council's Summit.
HH the Deputy Premier was received upon his arrival by HH the Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, HH Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Kuwait's Speaker Marzouq Ali Al Ghanim, Prime Minister HH Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Sabah, and senior Kuwaiti officials.
His Highness the Deputy Premier delivered a statement in which he expressed his pride in heading the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation to the 38th GCC Supreme Council Summit. He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Amir of Kuwait HH Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah for his kind invitation and efforts that contributed to holding the Summit on its venue and time.
His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s participation in the GCC Summit activities emanates from its keenness on upholding the unity and cohesion of the GCC countries in view of the shared destiny and bonds between its peoples and safeguarding the accomplishments of the GCC countries and peoples.
His Highness expressed his wishes for the Summit’s success lauding Kuwait’s provision of its success factors including preparation, amicable reception and generous hospitality.
HH Shaikh Mohammed said the challenges and dangers fronting the GCC countries and peoples necessitate working to return with welfare to the GCC peoples, achieve their hopes and aspirations and integration among the GCC member states.
The Honour Convoy was headed by Kuwait’s Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Minister of Information, Shaikh Mohammed Al Abdullah Al Sabah.
