On the advent of Eid Al Adha and in line with His Majesty the King’s habit, Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa issued a royal decree pardoning 153 convicts who have served part of their sentence and observed good conduct.

The pardon on such occasions aims to enable the released inmates to re-integrate the community and take part in the development march.
