Dar Fatwa on Monday categorically refuted the analysis and information published by the Central News Agency (Markaziyya) as "groundless", stressing that Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian has not cancelled his meetings and itinerary.

"The Mufti did not cancel his activities and his meetings," a statement by Dar Fatwa said, stressing that all what has been mentioned on Mufti Derian's visit to Saudi Arabia as unfounded.

Dar Fatwa Press Bureau stressed that all news related to the Mufti are either proclaimed directly by the Mufti or through his Media Office
