Head of the Egyptian Customs Authority Magdy Abdel Aziz on Saturday discussed with a number of representatives of factories and importing companies features of a new draft customs law.
"The new bill will provide clear and conclusive definitions of some terms in the customs field to avoid interpretations," the authority chief said.
The draft law also takes into consideration the technological development in the field telecommunications and the electronic exchange of files, Abdel Aziz said.
Under the bill, all bodies involved in the importing and exporting system will be linked together for quick, secret and safe circulation of data and information, he added.
