The Chinese Foreign ministry said President Xi Jinping will start a five-day Asian tour on Thursday which will take him to Cambodia, Bangladesh and India.
Xi's visits come at the invitation of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni and Bangladeshi President Mohamed Abdul Hamid, spokesperson Lu Kang said Monday.
Kang added that Xi will attend in Goa at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi, the 8th
summit of BRICS, which includes China, India, Brazil, Russia and South Africa.
The summit is to tackle the establishment of a BRICS's free trade zone, the present situation of the global economy and its effects on trade and investment in Bloc's countries, as well cooperation in many areas such as intellectual property rights and promoting trade and small and medium industries.
