Chinese President Xi Jinping today headed to Europe on a tour which includes Holland, France, Germany and Belgium.

The Chinese leader is scheduled to attend the 3rd Nuclear Security Summit in the Hague (March -24-25) and visit the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation at the invitation of UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova.

President Jinping is set to visit the European Union (EU) headquarters from March 31 to April 1 at the invitation of the EU Council President Herman Van Rompuy and the European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso.
