Prosecutor General Counselor Nabil Sadeq left here on Tuesday heading for Rome leading a judicial delegation of the public prosecution.

Sadeq will meet in Rome with his Italian counterpart and prosecution leaders to review the recent developments regarding investigations into the murder of Italian student Giulio Regeni in Cairo earlier this year.

The visit comes at an invitation by the Italian public prosecution to resume talks on the issue and exchange data and documents.
