Pakistan President, Ali Zardari, has checked into Dubai hospital, for what a source said could be treatment of a minor heart attack. Zardari’s office denies this, saying he’s in the hospital for routine medical tests only. But a Pakistani source in Dubai familiar with his conidtion, said otherwise, fuelling rumours that he may resign. Financial markets were unaffected by the rumours. Last month’s NATO strike on two Pakistani border posts killed 24 soldiers and worsened an already tense relationship between the US and Zardari.
