Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit left Cairo on Wednesday heading for Baghdad on a one-day visit to Iraq.
Abul Gheit will hold talks with Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Jaafari and a number of Iraqi officials on the latest regional developments, especially with regard to war against Daesh.
This is Abul Gheit's first visit to Iraq since he assumed his post as the AL chief.
