President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has awarded the Nelein Order (First Class) to the Ambassador of China to Khartoum, Li Lianhe, in recognition of his efforts for consolidating the relations between the two countries in all domains.

This came when President Al-Bashir received the Ambassador of China to Sudan on the occasion of the expiry of his office term in the country.

President Omer Al-Bashir has described as strategic the relations between the two countries, affirming the keenness of Sudan to strengthen further the bilateral relations for the interest of the two countries

Meanwhile, the Ambassador of China has expressed his full satisfaction of the level achieved in the relations between the two countries during his office term in Sudan.

He said that the exchanged visit by leaderships in the two countries have contributed to cementing the relations between Sudan and China.

He expressed his appreciation over the great support extended to him by Sudan government and the officials in the country during his assignment to Sudan.
