H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has issued Emiri Decree No. 22 of 2017 stipulating the restructure of the Ajman Human Resources Department.
The Decree was formulated based on a presentation by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council that detailed the importance of reorganising the Human Resources Department's central administration, and providing staff with all necessary technical and material resources to assist in the supervision of government entities' human resources in the emirate.
It seeks to ensure the development and implementation of comprehensive policies and plans that include all technical, administrative, regulatory and legislative aspects related to attracting human resources to work in the Emirate of Ajman's government entities.
The Decree also details that staff are to be trained in accordance with international best practices in the field of human resources to work in a healthy, safe and equitable work environment for employees, motivating them to advance their performance and improve services to in the public sector attaining customer satisfaction, and an overall increase in the emirate's competitiveness and sustainable progress.
The Decree shall be effective from the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
