H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and CEO and Chairman of the Emirates Group, has visited the ACWA Power stand during the second day of Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition, WETEX 2017.

Sheikh Ahmed was received by Thamer Al Sharhan, Managing Director of ACWA Power. He was briefed on ACWA Power’s participation at WETEX 2017, as well as the Concentrated Solar Power, CSP, project that ACWA Power successfully won earlier this year.

The Dubai CSP project is the 700MW fourth phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, which will be the largest single-site thermo-solar power plant in the world, and will power 568,000 houses. ACWA Power is also exhibiting other recent projects including the completed 200 MW second phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
