Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas, criticized Tuesday the speech by US President Donald Trump at the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly, saying it deepens differences.
He said in a very short statement in reaction to what Trump said at the UN on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict that the speech "deepens differences and puts back the chances of achieving peace."
Abu Rudeineh stressed that "Jerusalem will remain the capital of Palestine on the 1967 borders, regardless who accepts this or rejects it."
