An Algerian woman gave birth to five children in the country\'s largest hospital, Mustapha Pacha hospital following a caesarean
.
The woman was previously being treated for Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) which is one of the most common female endocrine disorders.
Dr Lonas Bin Ghanem said that the five children were born prematurely, adding that four were in good health, but the fifth remained in critical condition, suffering from breathing problems.
She added that the woman gave the birth to four boys and one girl.
